Macy's Candies Limited, the flagship of the group, was established in 1985 as a producer of fine hand-made chocolates and confectionaries for both the local and international traveler markets.
Although still essentially a family-owned business, the Macy's Group has grown from these humble beginnings to include a wide range of products such as sushi, honey, golden syrup, cakes & pastries as well as catering services and restaurant operations. Since this time, the Group has established a wide customer base throughout Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North America and Australia.
Macy's now owns and operates two large-scale factories in Hong Kong and China, totaling over 115,000 square feet and with over 400 employees.
Macy's operates its own deluxe retail outlet (Les Chocolats de Macy) in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong's leading shopping area, as well as its investment in Cafe & Restaurant in Hong Kong's prestigious Central District.
In keeping with its international reach and customer-base, Macy's
has obtained licenses to produce a wide range of confectionary products
bearing high recognition trade marks from around the world, including
Warner Brothers, Disney, Hello Kitty and Doraemon among many others.
